Husband of Elizabeth Ann Warner, father of Godschall Johnson I (q.v.) and son-in-law of Col. Edward Warner of Antigua and Eltham.

  1. Will of John Johnson of Blackheath Kent proved 15/05/1775. He left to his daughter Sarah Eyre from his one-third as much as would make up to 拢1150 as her share of his estate after taking account of her share as co-heir of another third: he noted that she was also entitled on his death to 拢2000 secured by her brother Godschall Johnson on her late mother's estate in Antigua. He made similar disposals from his one-third to bring his legacy to his son Godschall up to 拢1150; his son John to 拢1000 and his daughter Julia also to 拢1000. He noted that Godschall Johnson would come into the Antigua estate on the death of his wife, Godschall's mother, Elizabeth. He made Elizabeth his residuary heir.
