Jamaica slave-owner, father of Robert Nedham MP (q.v.). He left his estates to his second son Henry who in turn left them to Robert Nedham MP.

1. Robert Nedham of St Mary, Esquire. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1739. Slave-ownership at probate: 779 of whom 422 were listed as male and 357 as female. 185 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £39,321.73 currency (£28,086.95 sterling) of which £24,646 currency (£17,604.29 sterling) was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £318.5 currency (£227.5 sterling) plate, £1,358.21 currency (£970.15 sterling) debts and £0 currency (£0 sterling) cash.
