Resident slave-owner in Jamaica. Brother of Captain John Campbell, James Campbell of Orange Bay and Colin Campbell of New Hope.

Peter Campbell of Westmoreland, Esquire. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1740. Slave-ownership at probate: 341 of whom 180 were listed as male and 161 as female. 73 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: 拢19429.13 Jamaican currency of which 拢13770 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included 拢64.83 currency cash, 拢1113.08 currency debts and 拢100 currency plate.
