Biography

Wife of John Boswell who owned Abbey Green estate in St David, Jamaica. Received an annuity of 拢750 Jamaican currency for life from Abbey Green after the death of her husband. By 1827 she had remarried, to Richard Carter of Cloudsley Terrace, Islington. Sister to Judith Barker [q.v.] and Ann Newman who are named in the will of her son John Matthews Boswell.
