1. Tentatively identified as brother of Thomas Kelly Geohegan (q.v.), and son of Joseph Geohegan (q.v.) of St David, Planter. Likely to be the same person as one or more of Joseph Geoghegan, Joseph S. Geoghegan, or Joseph Samuel Geoghegan (q.v.).

2. “Frances Matthews Geoghegan, dau of Mary Butler, a free qn by Joseph Sam Geoghegan, baptism on 28 Dec 1817, at Kingston, Jamaica.

3. In 1817, imprisoned for debt in Spanish Town goal.
