Lisa is responsible for the planning and delivery of the Laws events & CPD course programme. She manages the annual events planning schedule and, with Cat Balogun, manages all aspects of the day-to-day delivery of the events. This includes a ‘cradle-to-grave’ events management service including advising on the programme planning; financial planning and budgeting; facilities and catering procurement; sales & marketing; speaker liaison and travel management; sponsor liaison; Ìýand to the management of the event on the day and post-event administration.

Lisa also manages the CPD programme including a two-year distance learning Notarial Practice Course; a five-day programme for IP lawyers; a programme for legal practitioners based in London to audit LLM Modules; and around 10 smaller one or two day courses run annually.

Lisa is the Faculty’s liaison for professional CPD accreditation with the SRA / BSB and IPReg.

Lisa ran her first conference at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº in 1997 and has worked on most event iterations over the years (lectures / debates/ ½ day – 3 day conferences / panel discussions / mock trials / workshops / CPD courses / Alumni Parties / Graduation).

Prior to joining ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Lisa worked as a freelance Events Manager working in the City for a number of years with, amongst others, Reed Smith LLP (then Richards Butler).
