Over the course of the Summer in 2019, the聽果冻影院 Laws聽LLB team - comprising of students Natalia Bilimoria and Luke Evans - competed in the 6th HSF-NLU Delhi International Negotiation Competition 2019.聽

INC is an invitation only competition organised by Herbert Smith Freehills and National Law University Delhi annually. The INC was conceptualised by HSF and started in 2014 and has since gained widespread acclaim. It draws participants from over 30 internationally renowned universities, including the likes of Oxford, Cambridge, Melbourne, NUS Singapore, Hong Kong and Cologne. This year, the competition took place between the 6^th and 8^th of September in Delhi, India.

The team, representing 果冻影院 for the first time in the competition, fought brilliantly and聽was one聽of 8 out of an initial 40 teams to reach the Quarter Finals.聽Our team聽ranked 4th聽in the preliminary rounds of the competition.

Natalia Bilimoria commented:

鈥淚 am honoured that we had the opportunity to represent 果冻影院 in its first ever international negotiation competition. Thank you to the organisers (National Law University, Delhi), the sponsors (Herbert Smith Freehills), the participants and judges, and most importantly the 果冻影院 Laws Faculty聽and Law Society, for making the wonderful experience possible. We developed many essential skills that are needed in the legal profession, from actually preparing for the negotiations in advance, to handling real life simulations dealing with unexpected and unknown variables and reacting to them in a short time frame, to ensuring cooperation and teamwork on both sides of the table. We also made some lifelong friends with people from around the world. This experience has enriched my legal education and is something I will cherish as a huge addition to my learning. I do hope 果冻影院 will continue to participate in international negotiation competitions and capitalise on these invaluable opportunities.鈥�
