Mac@果冻影院 enrollment guide

This guide explains how to enrol your Mac device on to Mac@果冻影院

This guide is aimed at...

  • Staff

Before you start...

  • Your 果冻影院 user ID and password
  • You will need a brand new Mac or a older Mac that has been reset to factory defaults
  • You will need confimation from ISD that your device has been registered and is ready to be enrolled on Mac@果冻影院

Instructions

IMPORTANT: If you have not had confirmation from ISD that your device is registered and ready for enrolment on Mac@果冻影院 then please do not attempt to follow this guide.听 Please contact ISD for assitance first.

  1. Turn device on. If the device has been wiped/reset, the first thing you will see is the Activate Mac screen.听 This should happen automatically once you have connected to a network. Once activated click Exit to Recovery and the computer will restart and prompt you to reinstall the latest OS. Installation of the OS can take 1-2 hours depending on the speed of your device and network.   2. Select United Kingdom and click Continue 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听听

  3. Configure accessibility to your preference and then click Continue or just click Not Now 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听

  4. Connect to a wireless (from home) or a wired network (from within 果冻影院). (At this time it is not possible to enrol whilst connected to Eduroam). Click Continue

  5. You will now see the Remote Management screen that will specify the computer will be configured by 果冻影院.

  6. Click Continue and the enrollment will be intiated.听 This should take a minute or so to complete.
  7. Enable/Disable Location services to your preference and click Continue听听听听听听听 听 听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听

  8. The device should now boot to a log in screen, and you should see the Azure login box.
