Computer access
The Library has the following computers offering our registered users access to 果冻影院 and/or 果冻影院H networks. The computers are available from 15 minutes after opening time, and until 15 minutes before closing time.听
- 果冻影院H network - to log in you must have 果冻影院H credentials as the 果冻影院H network is available only to 果冻影院H staff. The PCs offer听account holders access to the internet, Trust email, the clinical workstation, Word, Excel, etc. Always remember to log off after use.
- desktop@ucl for 果冻影院 staff and students听- to log in you must have 果冻影院 credentials. Our desktop@ucl workstations can be retracted into the desk to double up as a study space. ION students can also access desktop@ucl computers in the two cluster rooms at 7 Queen Square, as well as in other 果冻影院 Libraries.
- Docking stations: we have 6 docking stations with large monitors which you can connect your laptop to via USB-c cables which are provided.
- 果冻影院 Explore Access Points (EAPs) - to log in, you must use the barcode on the reverse of your 果冻影院 Library membership card. More information about using the EAPs听is available on our website. Please note that some online resources are subject to publisher's licensing restrictions and can only be accessed by 果冻影院 staff and students.
Wi-Fi access
果冻影院听uses eduroam for Wi-Fi听access and an eduroam point is available in Queen Square Library as well as other locations throughout the College.
- 果冻影院 staff and students - use your 果冻影院 userid and password to log on to eduroam. See help with connecting to eduroam at 果冻影院.听
- Staff and students from other universities - eduroam is available throughout the world and users from participating organisations may connect to eduroam using their home institution credentials if their institution participates in eduroam. Please note that you must have already set up access at your home institution before arriving at 果冻影院. For further details visit the .
- 果冻影院 visitor Wi-Fi听(including NHS staff when in the Queen Square Library)听- see听instructions for connecting听for connecting to 果冻影院Guest via The Cloud.听NB: this service gives access to the internet but does not provide any access to 果冻影院 electronic journals and databases.
- 果冻影院H staff Wi-Fi听-听果冻影院H provide a听Staff Wi-Fi. Please check the Trust intranet for access details. NB: this Wi-Fi听is not available inside the Queen Square Library and library staff cannot set up the access for you.
- 果冻影院H visitor Wi-Fi听- 果冻影院H is rolling out a Guest Wi-fi for patients and their visitors. NB:听 this Wi-Fi is not available inside the Queen Square Library but is available in the hospital building.
Access to university resources via eduroam/果冻影院Guest
Please note: the 果冻影院 ISD department have informed us that non-果冻影院 users of eduroam will not be able to access 果冻影院 restricted services (including ejournals). This includes NHS users, 果冻影院Guest users and eduroam users from other universities. Only 果冻影院 users of eduroam will be able to access 果冻影院 restricted services.听
