We're delighted to launch the Project Period听at IoN which aims to offer free sustainable period products to anyone who needs it .
Project Period at IoN is dedicated to providing free, sustainable menstrual products to all students and staff. We鈥檙e addressing period poverty and breaking the taboo around periods with an aim of moving our community towards plastic free periods. Sustainable products (pads and tampons with applicator from sustainable materials)听are now available in a series of IoN locations.听
Goals and Impact听
Combating Period Poverty: The initiative ensures that menstrual products are accessible to everyone, reducing financial barriers and promoting dignity and equality.听
Sustainability: By offering eco-friendly alternatives to conventional menstrual products, Project Period at IoN aims to reduce the environmental impact caused by plastic alternatives.听

Product Replenishment听
At the moment, product replenishment happens through IoN EDI Committee volunteers. If stock runs out in a location, then please contact听ion.equality@ucl.ac.uk to let them know.听
