We are building a purpose-built facility at 256 Grays Inn Road, which will provide a technologically advanced research environment, shared facilities, flexible space and major new investment into core technologies, equipment and services.
The dual hub: 256 Grays Inn Road and Queen Square House
One IoN-DRI community will work over two sites - 256 Grays Inn Road and Queen Square to create one world-class centre for translational neuroscience. Queen Square will remain the headquarters of the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Queen Square Institute of Neurology (ION) and be the centre for research activities with a clinical focus. 256 Grays Inn Road will be the centre for preclinical neuroscience and house the majority of the Institute's wet labs.
¹û¶³Ó°ÔºH will acquire majority ownership of Queen Square House, as part of the agreement to purchase the Eastman Dental Hospital site, and a number of floors will be retained and renovated for ION use, with the building's ground floor, currently being redeveloped.Â
As work continues at pace, the ION-DRI community have been visiting site to see how they're getting on...
