Public Engagement

Two-way dialogue with public and patient groups provides opportunities for mutual learning and ensures that we are tackling the clinical challenges that matter most.

TheÌýWellcome / EPSRC Centre for Interventional and Surgical Sciences work across a wide range of public engagement activities, from patient advisory groups and co-produced patient eventsÌýto national festivals andÌýartist collaborations.

It's what allows us toÌýbroaden, exchange, and testÌýknowledge and experience, shaping research withÌýnew and lived insights. It also improves how our research is translated, making sure that our work is informed and accepted by those it effects.

On these pages you will find a range of our current and previous projects, as well as information about how we support this activity through a supportive environment forÌýpublic engagement and our dedicated strategy, linked to the centre's key aims.

If you're interested in taking part, or just hearing more about our work,Ìýjust let us know.
