IDEAlISM is a three-year project in theoretical and experimental semantics-pragmatics, investigating the interaction between dynamic effects and alternative-based inferences, across spoken and signed languages, as well as gestures. The project is funded by the AHRC and the DFG bilateral agreement. We are a group of researchers across Germany, the UK, and Norway, at the University of Göttingen, Goethe University Frankfurt, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº, and the University of Bergen.

Language in Reasoning

Language in Reasoning is a one-year project that investigates what fallacious or repugnant inference patterns reveal about reasoning, natural language semantics and pragmatics, and their interactions. The project is funded by the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Institute of Advanced Studies and Cities Partnerships Programme and Université PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres). We are a group of researchers based at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº, Ecole Normale Supérieure, and Collège de France in Paris.
