REF Results for the Department of Information Studies

Department of Information Studies REF2021 results show that overall, 86% of our research was assessed as world-leading or internationally excellent. 75% of our research impact was world-leading, putting us 8th for impact at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

Research impact case studies focused on transforming access to children’s social care records in England ( and here) and showing the potential of digital humanities research in heritage settings to improve the understanding of Sir Hans Sloane’s historic catalogues.
