Appraisals
In line with the principles of the Follett Review Report, the appraisal of clinical academics should be done jointly by the substantive (university) and honorary (NHS) employer. There are five academic components that should be included in all joint appraisals:听Teaching and Training,听搁别蝉别补谤肠丑,听尝别补诲别谤蝉丑颈辫,听Enterprise and听Enabling.
Clinical Academic Staff who hold their honorary clinical contract with 果冻影院H should complete their annual appraisals on SARD.听听Clinical Academic Staff who hold their honorary clinical contract with other NHS Partners should complete their appraisal on the NHS Trust鈥檚 electronic system and include a section on the academic component

the outcome of appraisal will be shared with the Responsible Officer (RO) to enable the RO to make a revalidation recommendation

Revalidation
Revalidation is the General Medical Councils new way of regulating licensed doctors. Licensed doctors including doctors in foundation year two and specialty training will have to revalidate, usually every five years. In addition, for doctors in postgraduate training, they will also revalidate when they receive their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
Revalidation for 果冻影院 staff holding an honorary clinical appointment will be coordinated by the Deanery at which the individual is registered.
