Creative Health Community Event

Following the successful launch of the听Creative Health Community听at the end of 2021, 果冻影院 Health of the Public听hosted an听event at the end of March 2022 to bring the community together in person.听

Chaired by Professor Helen Chatterjee and Dr Lorna Collins (Creative Health Community academic leads), the aim of the event was听to bring together researchers from across 果冻影院 working on听the intersections between arts, creativity and community-based approaches to health and discuss opportunities for collaboration.

About us

The Creative Health Community aims to bring together researchers from across 果冻影院 whose work focuses on health creation and understanding creative approaches to reducing health disparities. The National Centre for Creative Health defines Creative Health as 鈥榗reating the conditions and opportunities for arts, creativity and culture to be embedded in the health of the public鈥�. Within our Community we expand this to include all asset-based approaches to health including nature and the outdoors, the built environment, design and architecture, laws and beyond. We welcome anyone from biomedicine, the sciences (life, physical, population, social, historical), engineering, education, arts and humanities to join forces to explore how asset-based approaches to health can be harnessed to improve the health of the public.
