The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signalling their desire to work more closely together and build on existing links developed over the past few years.

These have included strong research collaborations across a broad range of faculties, including Life Sciences, Social and Historical Sciences and the Bartlett, and a well-established student exchange agreement attracting around 500聽students every year.

In December 2019, the first jointly-funded research workshop involving the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning and 果冻影院鈥檚 Bartlett Real Estate Institute took place, exploring the role and challenges of the university satellite campus.

Further activities on the cards include plans to launch a joint virtual seed fund in the near future, and to develop a number of joint research workshops to identify potential research synergies.

USyd is regularly ranked in the world鈥檚 top 50 universities, and is first in Australia and fourth globally for graduate employability prospects.

Andrew Brown, Senior Partnership Manager (South East Asia, Japan & Australasia) said: 鈥USyd is聽an important partner for 果冻影院鈥檚 Global Engagement Strategy and we鈥檙e really pleased to have signed this agreement to formalise and build on the fantastic activity already underway with colleagues from across the university. I am sure that the joint seed will be a catalyst for further collaboration, once it is launched in the summer.鈥
