Professor Monica Lakhanpaul used a Global Engagement Office-led visit to India to forge new connections both within ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº and beyond, as well as Global Engagement Funds to shape her own research direction.

She and Professor Marie Lall (Pro-Vice-Provost South Asia) and Dr Priti Parikh (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Engineering) formed a new interdisciplinary collaboration working with a variety of partners in India to come up with new, community-led solutions to the problem of child malnutrition in rural areas.

GEO supports ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº academics to put their knowledge and ideas into action, creating lasting good for people all around the world.
