Project Summary

The Consortium for Research on Food Assistance for NutritionalÌýImpact (REFANI) was an international, 3-year, £3.2 million researchÌýproject funded by the Department for International DevelopmentÌý(DFID) and ECHO. The REFANI project examined the nutritional impact andÌýcost-effectiveness of cash and/or voucher-based food assistanceÌýinterventions.Ìý The aim was to create new evidence to inform decisionsÌýon the prevention of acute malnutrition in emergencies.
