Project Summary
The Consortium for Research on Food Assistance for Nutritional听Impact (REFANI) was an international, 3-year, 拢3.2 million research听project funded by the Department for International Development听(DFID) and ECHO. The REFANI project examined the nutritional impact and听cost-effectiveness of cash and/or voucher-based food assistance听interventions.听 The aim was to create new evidence to inform decisions听on the prevention of acute malnutrition in emergencies.
The results from the three cluster trials implemented by the consortium are described and compared in the Synthesis Report below.听 For those wanting a quicker read the shorter Summary Report is also available.
