Jenny Article

This well-deserved recognition marks the importance of Professor Robinson's contributions to human geography, particularly her work on postcolonial critiques of urban studies, comparative urbanism, and global urban studies.

Professor Robinson's research, which spans urban development politics in South Africa, the UK, and broader African contexts, has been instrumental in reshaping the way urban politics are understood, particularly in relation to transnational and state actors. Her election as a Fellow of the British Academy highlights her influence in both academic and policy circles.
