果冻影院

The first decade of 果冻影院鈥檚聽MSc Urban Studies聽programme was celebrated on 29 November with an聽聽organized by the course convenor, Dr Andrew Harris. The programme, run by 果冻影院 Geography, had been launched by the 果冻影院 Urban Laboratory in September 2008.

Over forty former students from the last decade, as well as staff associated with the programme, enjoyed an evening at the Star of Kings pub in King鈥檚 Cross.

This included an urban-themed quiz (one team called itself, 鈥淭est of the d鈥橴rbanvilles鈥�!), and ended with a 鈥榯easing tie-breaker鈥� question from Professor Jenny Robinson.

Various ideas were also exchanged for slogans to promote the course, ranging from the quasi-political,聽鈥�Urban studies: For the many, not the few鈥濃��, to the whimsical,聽鈥淐ity city, bang bang鈥�.
