Night of Ideas 2023: Call for video shorts

The Institut Fran莽ais and the French Embassy in the UK, in collaboration with 果冻影院, announce an open call for video essays from students for the Night of Ideas 2023.
The Night of Ideas is an annual festival of debate, discussion, performance, music, film and more at the , France鈥檚 cultural institute in London.聽It brings together top thinkers, artists and political figures to address pressing questions facing the world today. The theme of the next edition聽is 鈥淢ORE?鈥�.
Undergraduate and聽postgraduate students currently enrolled in a London university are invited to participate in the聽open call for thought-provoking video-essays.聽The two winning entries and 8 runners-up will be screened during the at the Institut Fran莽ais in South Kensington on 9聽February 2023.
The winner will be awarded聽a prize of 拢250, with a 拢100 for second place.聽
Videos must be聽previously unpublished work, no longer than 60 seconds and subtitled in English. Entries must be submitted by 2 January 2023. For more information, see the PDF file below. Bonne chance!
