The European Institute and the Institute of Advanced Studies will host an informal workshop on the Ukraine war and its consequences, intended to stimulate interdisciplinary exchange.

  • Ukrainian culture/cultural loss: Dr Uilleam Blacker, Associate Professor in the Comparative Culture of Russia & Eastern Europe, SSEESÌý
  • Russian domestic opposition: Dr Ben Noble, Associate Professor of Russian Politics, SSEESÌý
  • International relations: Professor Kristin Bakke, Professor of Political Science and International Relations, Department of Political Science
  • Russia’s expulsion from the European Convention on Human Rights: Dr Agnieszka Kubal, Lecturer in Sociology, SSEES

Speakers will be asked to talk for no more than 5 minutes each, with a view to framing an open, interactive and interdisciplinary discussion.

This sessionÌýis open to all ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº staff and students, and will be followed by informal networking and drinks.
