Students need to make their own accommodation arrangementsÌý for the duration of their GP Assistantship placement.

Eligible students can apply for reimbursement of their accommodation fees from theÌý.

Students not eligible for the NHS Bursary, can apply to the Department of Primary Care and Population Health for reimbursement of up to £400Ìýper student. However, this option applies only to students allocated to ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº-linked practices.

Students not eligible for the NHS Bursary, and based at an independent practice (e.g. not ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº-linked), can apply for limited assistance via ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Medical School's Hardship Funds, if they are experiencing severe financial problems. Please contact Student Support Office for more details.
