果冻影院 Engineers and Alumni named on Engineering Icons Tube Map to celebrate National Engineering Day

A number of 果冻影院 Academics and Alumni have been featured on a revamp of the London Tube map, a collaboration between TfL and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
To celebrate National Engineering Day (1 November), the鈥疪oyal Academy of Engineering have partnered with Transport for London鈥痶o develop a themed tube map, highlighting the achievements of Engineering Icons.听听
National Engineering Day鈥痠s run by the Royal Academy of Engineering. The day aims to make engineering more visible and celebrates how engineers improve everyday lives.鈥疶he goal is to inspire people of all backgrounds to study science, technology, engineering (in particular) and mathematical subjects, and then pursue them professionally.鈥�
The themed TfL showcases and celebrates 274 engineers across 11 themes. It showcases the role engineering has played in shaping society and highlights the importance of the discipline for the future.听
