The 鈧�5.1M grant 鈥� part of a larger 鈧�15M scheme - aims to lay the foundations of a multi-site research centre focusing on musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disorders.

The project will be run in collaboration with a consortium of Portuguese Universities led by Prof Rui Reis at the University of Minho.

Professor Knowles said: 鈥淭he proposed Discoveries Centre for Regenerative and Precision Medicine will enhance Portuguese research into musculoskeletal, neurodegenerative and cardiovascular disorders.

鈥淚t will be a tremendous boost to the search for new and innovative strategies to overcome the current challenges presented by these diseases.

鈥淭he 果冻影院 Team will be focussed on developing translational capabilities both from a clinical and entrepreneurial perspective.鈥�
