Our main facilities at 果冻影院, the Kathleen Lonsdale Building, also feature听a genderneutral toilet on the third floor. We are in the process of setting up a network that will meet once a term for coffee and cake and other social events. The network will report directly to the EDI Committee.听

In 2018听one of the UK鈥檚 best employers for lesbian, gay, bi and trans staff in the Stonewall 2018 Top 100 Employers Index. 果冻影院 has an active LGBTQIA+ Equalities Action Group (LEAG) and an LGBTQIA+ staff social network (Out@果冻影院; Twitter: @uclout) which meets at least twice a term and sponsors a variety of events, including annual trips to London Pride, Black Pride and Trans Pride. Staff at 果冻影院 can become a听Friend of Out@果冻影院, and 果冻影院 provides training for staff to become LGBTQIA+ allies. There is also an active research network called听, a university-wide initiative that brings together 果冻影院 staff and students with research and teaching interests in LGBTQ studies, gender and sexuality studies, queer theory and related fields.

The support and wellbeing service offers support to LGBTQIA+ students. On their听website听you can find information on transitioning gender, the听果冻影院 Policy and Guidance for Students transitioning Gender听and details of听external support for the transgender community, especially in London. The听听is here to support you in your study and work, to provide you with social activities, as well as to campaign on your behalf and raise awareness of your听issues.听
