Family Event: Paper Pottery with Lucia

Audience: This is an intergenerational workshop, suitable for all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.
T锘縣e Petrie Museum of Egyptian and Sudanese Archaeology听invites you to create your own crafted听masterpiece inspired by the museum鈥檚 collection of pottery.
Piece together your very own paper pot!听
Inspired by the Petrie Museum鈥檚 collection of pottery, illustrator Lucia Vinti will guide you through styles and representations shown within this fantastic array of pots. Looking at patterns, people and animals, your final crafted creation will be a modern masterpiece with ancient flair.
The final addition will be a simple stand to display your unique creation complete with your own museum object label.
This workshop is part of 果冻影院 Museums & Cultural Programmes 2023-24 event series Architecting Futures from Past Traces, bringing together art, culture and research.

- Drop-in session听12:00-14:00 where booking is听not听required.
Access
There is step free access to the Petrie Museum via the lift in the 果冻影院 Science Library to the left of the Museum's main entrance.听Further information about access at the Museum can be found here.

The Museum is located听in Bloomsbury, in the heart of central London. The nearest tube stations are Euston Square (Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City), Goodge Street (Northern Line), Warren Street (Victoria Line), and buses 18, 30, 73, 134 and 205 stop 3-5 minutes away on Euston Road.
