Our Year 8 Summer School give students an exciting taste of university life, while enriching their school subject knowledge using object-based learning at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s museums and London’s national collections.

Students will explore what it means to be human, using world-class museum objects and ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s academic expertise across the Arts, Sciences and Humanities.

Over a four dayÌýprogramme, we will be exploring how the museum and archive collections here at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº can help us to understand exactly who and what we are. Through a variety of interactive sessions, we will discover how our bodies and minds have been understood in the past and how that impacts on how we understand ourselves today.

You will meet and make friends with lots of students from other schools, as well as getting the chance to find out more about what it’s like to study at a university like ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

The programme is free of charge for eligible students, and lunch and refreshments will be provided by ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº. Each day begins at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm, and students will be supervised by ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº members of staff at all times.
