The First 果冻影院 Robotics Institute Workshop took place in July, to bring together 果冻影院 researchers in robotics. 果冻影院 Institute of Robotics is a cross-faculty initiative to develop a world-class teaching and research platform in Robotics and Autonomous Systems
果冻影院 Institute of Robotics is a cross-faculty initiative to develop a world-class teaching and research platform in Robotics and Autonomous Systems, including more than ten 果冻影院 departments and centres.
The First 果冻影院 Robotics Institute Workshop took place in July 2021, to bring together 果冻影院 researchers in robotics. With 23 invited talks and 31 research posters, the event gave everybody the opportunity to explore the research and development of 果冻影院 in robotics.
果冻影院 Provost, Michael Spence, welcomed the event, Head聽of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Sarah Spurgeon, gave an overview of the Institute of Robotics and Head of 果冻影院 Computer Science, Steve Hailes, talked about the new 果冻影院 East programme in Robotics, which will see CS lead on聽this huge聽expansion into research and teaching in聽this field.
