The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Black, Asian and minority Ethnic (BAME) Awarding Gap ProjectÌýis hostingÌýa one-day conference for ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº staff and students, and external guests,Ìýon the theme of ‘Closing the BAME Awarding Gap at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº: our journey so far'.Ìý

The Supporting BAME student success conference is part of a three-year project to address the disparities in outcomes and experience of undergraduate Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) and white students at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.ÌýWhile ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students, whether white or BAME, tend to perform well above national benchmarks, this discrepancy, known as an awarding gap, has persisted for the past few years.Ìý

The annual conference is a chance to reflect on successes and lessons learned from the project so far.ÌýWe know ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students are passionate about this issue and we want your voice to be included in this discussion.Ìý
