The MSc programme is a joint collaboration between the IOE, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Faculty of Education and Society, and the Faculty of Engineering and launched in September 2018.

Engineering Foundation Year

The Engineering Foundation Year at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº is for people who have aspirations to become an engineer, but haven’t had sufficient educational opportunities in life so far. Successfully completing this programme will enable you to go on to study one of the 27 engineering undergraduate programmes at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

Integrated Engineering Programme

The IEP is an award-winning undergraduate teaching framework shared by most ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Engineering undergraduate degree programmes, which emphasises creativity, communication, interdisciplinarity and teamwork by learning through projects and the social context of engineering.

Postgraduate research and Postdocs

The Centre is delighted to offer two funded PhD studentships (Home rate fees, stipend and research expenses) as part of its expanding research activity, for 2024/25 entry.

Beyond the Integrated Engineering Programme and the Engineering Foundation Year the Centre offers further modules to students on the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº East campus.
