At the Annual Meeting of the CureGRIN Foundation in Boston in March, Ian Coombs was presented with a Patient Impact Award. The awards are given by the Foundation to recognise 鈥�the patients, families, researchers, clinicians, and donors who have made the biggest impact in 鈥� efforts to find treatments and cures for GRIA, GRIK and GRIN Disorder鈥� and recognises Ian鈥檚 involvement with the Foundation through research, education and communication with patients鈥� families.
