About the role

The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Institute for Sustainable Resources (ISR) is recruiting a Lecturer in Governance, Business and Sustainability. The successful candidate will strengthen ISR’s research capacity at the interface between governance and policy, and sustainable business. We would particularly welcome applicants with expertise in the food and land use fields, including associated challenges for supply chains and trade. We will also give serious consideration to candidates with research and teaching track records in other policy areas we work in (e.g. water, biodiversity, minerals). The post holder will play an important role in the delivery of our new MSc programme on Business and Sustainability, which will welcome its first cohort of students in autumn 2023. This post is available from 01/07/2023. 

About you

You will have a track record of research on the governance of environmental and/or social sustainability challenges by businesses, policymakers and/or communities. This includes a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field. You will also have substantial experience in delivering taught modules in topics related to governance, business and sustainability, and ideally with experience in undertaking associated managerial and administrative tasks.
