Cecilia is a student in the 2022-23 cohort of 果冻影院 Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
With a background in medicine, Dr. Torres Ochoa began her career in the Unites States as physician training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University and later working as an assistant professor at the University of Miami. She has focused her efforts in women鈥檚 health, caring for the most underserved communities in both New York and Miami. As a clinician and educator within academic institutions and medical societies, she has worked on improving access and quality of care to minority and immigrant populations with an emphasis on racial and reproductive justice. She would like to focus future efforts on innovation in health care policy within these sectors.听
