David Kingman Receives Nathaniel Lichfield Award

Bartlett School of Planning graduate David Kingman (MSc Spatial Planning 2014/15)聽has been awarded the 聽for his MSc dissertation "How is the planning system addressing the shortage of school places in London? The example of the London Borough of Bromley鈥.

The Nathaniel Lichfield Award aims to recognise an original and outstanding contribution to the field of regional studies made by a recently graduated master student.聽David's MSc dissertation, which was supervised by , was selected by the Award Committee as the best dissertation of 2016 from聽among the many nominations received by the Regional Studies Association.

, who tutored David during his time at the Bartlett School of Planning and nominated him for the award, said: "David's dissertation was an excellent piece of work about the planning implications of free schools. It is testimony to the high standard of work which our students undertake."

David's award will be presented at the聽聽awards ceremony on 24th November in London.
