BSP student and member of staff awarded 果冻影院 ChangeMakers funds

Congratulations to Isabel Syrek, part-time MSc Urban Design and City Planning student, who has been awarded the 果冻影院 ChangeMakers Departmental Fund and to Dr Juliana Martins, who has been awarded the Postgraduate Research Projects Fund.

果冻影院 ChangeMakers provides project funding as a tool to help faculties and departments address student feedback and ideas. Through these projects, students and staff work together in partnership to bring about improvements to the student learning experience at 果冻影院.聽Read more about ChangeMakers on the 果冻影院 website.

The Projects

Isabel's project,聽鈥楤uilding Blocks: Big Data for Urban Design鈥櫬犅爄s supported by Ms Paula Morais and will also recruit students across MSc programmes at The Bartlett聽School of Planning.聽

The BSP panel praised this proposal as聽it captures engagement and benefits for at least three programmes (MSc Urban Design and City Planning, MSc Sustainable Urbanism, and MRes Interdisciplinary Urban Design). It is an ambitious and well crafted project that the聽department聽would not normally undertake, and it is aiming to use more widley聽in future years. It聽has聽potential to聽significantly enhance聽urban design education聽across the Faculty.

Dr Juliana Martins'聽project '鈥楤uilding a new PhD Research Support Portal鈥� has been awarded the Postgraduate Research Projects Fund.
