Bartlett School of Planning student wins opportunity to study in China

Congratulations are due to Tomasz Kocjan, a student on the BSc Urban Planning Design and Management programme, who has won a place on the Study China scheme.
Applications for Study China were extremely competitive this year with over 700 applications for 80 places.  Tomasz was one of five successful students from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº. Not only was Tomasz successful in his application for the Study China scheme, but he also successfully completed his bachelors degree this summer with a first class clasification.Â
The Study China programme runs from Sunday 26th August to Saturday 15th September at East China Normal University in Shanghai. Â
The Study China scheme is a unique programme providing students with the opportunity to study in China for a three week period. Â It is managed by The University of Manchester and funded by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills. Â Study China has as it's objective the development of knowledge and understanding of China and the Chinese language.
