Urban Storytelling: submit your story to be performed at the Bloomsbury Festival

The Urban Storytelling event 鈥� a collaboration between The Bartlett and 果冻影院 STEaPP 鈥� will see selected work performed as part of the Bloomsbury Festival in October 2018.
Are you interested in writing about activism and the urban environment? Have you ever thought about how you experience the city around you?
听
The Bartlett and are calling for 果冻影院 students, staff and alumni to produce stories relating to the theme of 鈥楢ctivism and Architects of Change鈥� and people鈥檚 experience of the city, to be performed publicly at the Bloomsbury Festival. Themes can include, but are not limited to:
- Accessibility
- Feminism
- The City at Night
- Queer Spaces
- Arts in the City
- Homelessness
- Green spaces
- Technology innovation
- Urban utopia/dystopia
Your submission can be in any written format, but should take no longer than 10 minutes to perform. Performance space is limited, so this should be taken into account when deciding your format. Formats can include, but are not limited to:
- Flash fiction
- Short stories
- Poetry
- Theatre
- Spoken word
Chosen submissions will be showcased at the (a five-day celebration of the area鈥檚 pioneering creativity, including a programme of arts, science, literature, performance, discussion and reflection) on Saturday 20听October, which includes the 果冻影院 Hub,听The Bartlett and STEaPP Late.
