For聽our 10th Anniversary we're holding a week of Lebanon-themed events to聽recognise the significant work of the IGP鈥檚 Prosperity Co-Laboratory for Lebanon (PROCOL Lebanon) initiative聽which is a collaborative network of academics, citizens, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders interested in improving quality of life in Lebanon.聽

Dates: 18 - 22 March 2024

The theme of the week is 鈥�The politics of decolonial investigations and the ethics of solidarity鈥� and will bring together academics, thinkers, citizen scientists and innovators to聽explore the kinds of ethical forms of聽knowledge production and social solidarity that must drive action towards better social,聽economic and environmental futures, that challenge colonial structures of domination and global聽epistemic injustice.聽

We will also be discussing聽the key challenges and opportunities for developing a Green New Deal for Lebanon and the MENA region.锘柯燭he imminent threats of climate change call for a swift and comprehensive approach that combines sustainable economic development, decolonial politics, and ecological responsibility for a more equitable and resilient future for the region.
