We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer to undertake, lead and seek funding for research that builds on and aligns to our current portfolio, and to teach on the Smart Energy and the Built Environment MSc.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to join the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Energy Institute, a world-class centre for research and teaching set within the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources. 

We are seeking a Lecturer to join the Buildings Theme to undertake, lead and seek funding for research that builds on and aligns to our current portfolio. The successful candidate will teach on the Smart Energy and the Built Environment MSc and contribute towards the successful operation of the theme and wider Institute.


Key Requirements

The successful candidate should have experience of successful empirical socio-technical or physical research in energy use in buildings culminating in publication in peer reviewed journals, with involvement in collaborative projects. They should also have experience of teaching energy use in buildings in higher education, with a socio-technical, physics or engineering emphasis, with a good working knowledge of the energy system and its relation to the built environment.
