¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Energy Institute, in collaboration with ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Mechanical Engineering, sustainability consultants GL Reynolds, maritime information provider Fathom, and classification society Lloyds Register have launched 'Practical Environment and Energy Efficiency Management for Shipping', a CPD course in applied systems thinking for the shipping industry.

The course will enable knowledge transfer from an ongoing RCUK Energy programme funded project "Low Carbon Shipping - A Systems Approach" and to increase engagement in real-world problems in an industry facing mounting regulation complexity and the economic challenges associated with high oil prices. , Lecturer in Energy and Transport at the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Energy Institute is a co-founder and joint course director.
