Urban Metabolism

What is urban metabolism? How is it understood within different disciplines? Can urban metabolism foster new ideas and concepts of the urban? What is its potential to develop practical applications?

Urban Metabolism

30 November 2011

These questions emerge around an interdisciplinary dialogue around urban metabolism, a concept increasingly adopted to study the city and its ecology.

In 2012, the project will organise an event to bring interdisciplinary researchers together. For more information or if you would like to participate please contact Vanesa Castán Broto (v.castanbroto@ucl.ac.uk) or Adriana Allen (a.allen@ucl.ac.uk).
