听comprises of pre-approved experts that the Department for Transport (DfT) can engage to provide scientific and technical services. The College of Experts has been created to increase the DfT's access to scientific networks, broaden its evidence base, identify key areas of research interest for the department and bolster the provision of scientific advice.

As a member of the DfT College of Experts, Dr Adrienn Tomor will offer听expertise in bridge engineering, resilience and decarbonisation of infrastructure.

Dr Adrienn Tomor said:听鈥淩esearch is exciting but we need impact. I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute towards the DfT College of Experts and gain better understanding of how policy making works at the departmental level.
