PhD student Yasmin Garcia-Sterling has聽been awarded the Arena Fellowship based on her student representative experience.聽果冻影院 Arena Fellowship is a welcoming and flexible programme聽of events and opportunities which focus on advancing research-based education at 果冻影院.聽These awards are made based on successful experience of teaching, supporting students鈥� learning or leading an aspect of education at 果冻影院. The scheme is accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA), which means that 果冻影院 can confer awards relating to teaching and leading聽in higher education upon its own staff.聽聽

Yasmin said:听鈥淭his is the first accepted Associate Fellowship Application that was completed with solely聽student representative experience according to 果冻影院 Arena. I'm thrilled because it means this opens聽accreditation doors for more PhD students who are student representatives to gain such an important qualification should they want to showcase their valuable experience聽as well as bringing awareness to the opportunities available at 果冻影院 that support PhD professional development.鈥澛�
