The Archisource Drawing of the Year Awards spotlight excellence in architectural drawing in all its forms. The awards, now in their fifth year, are international and free to enter, with entries coming from students, academics and practitioners across multiple disciplines.

The awards are judged by a panel of聽creative practitioners and industry experts. This year's panel included:聽Narinder Sagoo MBE - Art Director, Senior Partner at Foster + Partners, who also opened this year's Bartlett Summer Show;聽Sam Hudson - Art Director at Hayes Davidson;聽Eliza Grosvenor - Head of Programme at London Festival of Architecture;聽Will Jefferies - Associate at RSHP;聽Agata Murasko - architect at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris; and聽Mansel Haynes聽and聽Emily Glynn - Co-Founders and聽architects at Archisource.

Six Bartlett students and alumni聽were recognised across five of the award categories at this year鈥檚 awards, with 2023 Architecture MArch graduate Hei Tung Michael Ng taking the top award in the Digital Drafting category. Commenting on his award, the judges said it showed an聽鈥渙utstanding level of depth in storytelling, information process and function derived through colour. This clarity and structure allow[s]聽for playful graphics, composition and fun.鈥�

All of the winners, finalists and shortlisted entries will be聽published in Archisource's聽鈥業DEAS POCKETBOOK 2024鈥�, available internationally. The category winners were awarded a suite of creative and digital tools worth up to 拢12,500 each, while a wider array of entrants received聽Affinity V2 Universal Licences. Archisource also held a short exhibition last month to celebrate this year's awards, displaying many of this year's works alongside past winners聽at the Bargehouse at聽Oxo Tower Wharf from 06-09 June.聽
