The Bartlett expands into new facilities at Here East

We have recently moved into a new high-tech campus in East London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The Bartlett School of Architecture has now听expanded into 果冻影院 at Here East, a听high-tech research, robotics听and testing centre in Stratford. Developed jointly by The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment and the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, the site is听shared with听several 果冻影院 departments.
The new site is home to students from听our undergraduate programme,听Engineering &听Architectural Design MEng,听and听several of our Master's programmes, namely听Design for Manufacture MArch, Design for Performance & Interaction MArch and Situated Practice MA. These students now benefit from听new teaching facilities, studios, labs and workshops听at听the听6,000sqm campus, including a 2,000sqm robotics and advanced prototyping space.
Further high-tech facilities at Here East include environmental chambers and structural testing rigs, robotic cells and fabrication equipment. These have been designed to operate in tandem with our existing workshop facilities in Bloomsbury, allowing The Bartlett to offer its students an even broader architectural education.
鈥�Here East presents The Bartlett School of Architecture not only with a new space, but also a new way of working.听I am delighted that in an age when a multidisciplinary approach is needed across the global architectural, construction and environmental industries, we are able to teach and study in a truly multidisciplinary space.

Transforming 果冻影院
Part of the 听programme, 果冻影院 at Here East听is the final phase in 鈥櫶齭ix-year partnership with 果冻影院 Estates and听The Bartlett, following the refabrication of听our听22 Gordon Street home in Bloomsbury.
However, 果冻影院鈥檚 space at Here East is only the start of听果冻影院鈥檚 presence in Stratford's Olympic Park with听听due to open in 2021-2022.
