Andr茅s Manuel L贸pez Obrador (AMLO) won a landslide electoral victory in Mexico鈥檚 2018 presidential election on the promise that he would lead a 鈥楩ourth Transformation鈥� (4-T) of the country, which would end endemic corruption, rampant criminal violence and public insecurity, and deep-rooted socioeconomic inequality.

What progress has the AMLO administration made in combatting corruption and addressing widespread criminal violence? How effective have the government鈥檚 social policies been in addressing socioeconomic inequality? In what ways has AMLO strengthened, or undermined, democratic governance in Mexico?
