¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s Teacher and Professional Engagement team runs seminars on widening participation in higher education and educational equality.

Drawing on world-leading research from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº and the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Institute of Education, these sessions bring together academics, practitioners, leaders and educators from the widening participation sector, as well as colleagues from academy trusts, charities and unions, and advisory public bodies.

The 2015–16 programme included seminars on higher education bursaries and academic performance; elite education and elite formation; student mothers and child poverty; and the intersections of gender, ethnicity, social class and subject choices at ages 14 and 15.
