Presentation & Pitching skills for researchers
Course Description:

Effective presentations influence, persuade and maintain the attention of an audience.  This session will support you to design and deliver more effective presentations and pitches by focusing on what makes a successful talk.

Important info:
To make the workshop as relevant as possible, we need two volunteers to deliver a short presentation or pitch, and respond to questions, during the session.  The talk should be no longer than 6 minutes and you?re free to use slides.  It would also help if you designed your presentation as if you were talking to a broad (non-specialist) audience. This will provide an opportunity for you, your colleagues, and the trainer to provide constructive feedback on your presentation style.    If you?re happy to deliver a presentation at the session, please email the trainer: simon.cain@westbourneconsulting.com
